Gov Sarah Palin on SNL
This is the best SNL political skit I’ve seen since Will Ferrell coined the term “strategery” while playing President Bush. Is Sarah Palin the first VP nominee to raise the roof on national TV?

Christi, I think she’s a solid pick. I like the fact she’s run a government before. I like her conservative ideals. Overall, I think she is a principled decision-maker with the right principles. I am not concerned about her lack of experience. I have never bought the argument that you must be a career politician to be president (or vice president). I would actually rather have someone in office that hasn’t drank the Washington Kool-Aid for decades. You also haven’t heard me criticize Obama for lack of experience. I think Obama has plenty of experience to be POTUS.
Overall, I know she’s not perfect, but she’s got most of the qualities I desire in a public servant. If she were at the top of the ticket I would vote for her next month.
Greetings Mr. Barnett,
I saw your profile on Inside Xbox. Congratulations on being selected. I do have a question on your admiration for Sarah Palin. What are her policies really? And why would you choose to select someone for office who has a strong belief in God. So strong that it would affect her decisions in government. In my opinion we don’t need a ‘Mulah’ of some sort in our government. Do not tell me the war you fought in was God’s will. It wasn’t. It doesn’t bother me that a conservative becomes president it’s the delusion in their religion that follows them that I am concerned about.

Just briefly, Jeff, what are your thoughts on SP as VP?
