Book Review in New York Post
I recently had the privilege of reviewing a book for the New York Post, War Journal: My Five Years in Iraq by Richard Engel. The review is now live on the New York Post website. I found Mr’s Engel’s narrative extremely enlightening, especially with respect to the many cultural and sectarian conflicts within Iraq. As Engel exposes, it’s not as simple as just Sunnis, Shia, and Kurds. The review is heavily edited for length, so after its run in the Post is over I will post the full length version here.
