The fact of the matter is Iraq has never posed a threat to the US. It has always been a third rate country with a fourth rate military ruled by a two-bit tyrant. I sure wish more conservatives would be man enough, honest enough and moral enough to admit that the entire endeavor in Iraq has been a waste of US lives, Iraqi lives and over trillion dollars of our hard earned money. It so much reminds me of Vietnam, when "the sky is falling conservatives" said "surrender" there would threaten our security and freedom. Complete BS. Vietnam is now one of our trading partners. Even McCain returned to a warm Hanoi welcome. And now McCain seems to be making the same mistake a gain. He is prepared to stay in Irag for 100 years. That is right he said that 100 years. Easy for him to say. He married a multimillionaire heiress, so he can afford to pay higher taxes to pay for this costly error. Plus, if he is lucky, he has only 20 more years on the planet and won't have to answer for all the misery prolonging this disaster will spread.

I miss the days of fiscally conservative Republicans and wonder where they disappeared to. But then I'm a nearly a democrate these days, despite their not being much better.
